Meet Bob, the founder behind Online Reading Tutor
Online Reading Tutor was created by someone who saw that struggling readers didn’t just need encouragement, they needed the right kind of practice, delivered consistently. Being awarded teacher of the year wasn’t enough, he went on to create the first reading lab in Canada and this program.
Kick started by a $5000 donation from grateful parents, Bob developed and refined Online Reading Tutor for over 35 years to make structured reading support more accessible for families who needed something more consistent than occasional tutoring. His goal was to help struggling readers build skills through repetition, encouragement, and a clear path forward.
